For this artwork I was going for a pineapple. I'm really into plants so I wanted to make a little pot that looks like a pineapple and then the plant coming out of the top would look like the top of a pineapple. I used Sassy Yellow for the base color and Yadro for the brown specks. I used develop craft and engage and persist for my studio habits. I used develop craft when I was working with the clay because It's something pretty new to me. Forming and making details in the clay is something I haven't done much. I used engage and persist many times. I spent a whole day trying to form the pot right and I couldn't get it. I kept going though and I finally came out with something I liked. It turned out pretty good and I like how it actually resembles a pineapple for the most part. I am so glad I added the last glaze for the brown spots because I think that's what really made it perfect.
